A great choice of activities :
Oloron Sainte Marie certified « Pays d’Art et d’Histoire », you will also discover the historical part of the town following, a proposed circuit will lead you to museum, the recently opened « villa d’Art et d’Histoire », th cathedral and the Historical heritage house.
Various sports can be preacticed : VTT – canoe-cayak – treaking – speleologie – or paragliding.
Not forgetting to visit small mountain villages, shepards around the Pic du midi d’Ossau and experiment the « petit train d’Artouste ».
You will not either be disappointed by the local arts and crafts – the Jurançon wine or sheep cheese or pyrenean chocolates and an absolute must : the RUSSE from Artigarède.
Of course the garbure is not to be forgotten.
Not food but another must is the beret made in Oloron….
